Thermal paint removal and cleaning is done, performed by the pyrolyse technique. The products and instruments are placed on an oven bed in the oven. The oven will be heated gradually. This is how paint or stain will not burn, but pyrolyse. This applies to for instance persistent dirt and worn (rubber) linings but also to oils and greases which need to be removed sustainably. The extracted air is burned in an afterburner to avoid the release of damaging and harmful substances in the air.
Examples:
This process can be performed both at high- or low temperature, depending on the type of material and dimensions
Advantages:
We have the facility of a large blasting cabin in which a variety of products can be treated manually with blasting grit. Blasting is also an effective solution to remove inorganic dirt. The surface has to be roughened slightly. The level of roughening depends on the chosen blasting method and the programmed pressure.
Blasting Cabin
Glass bead blasting is primarily suitable for products with a high quality standard. This blasting technique is performed with the use of fine glass beads, as apposed to the use of more heavy blasting material. An additional advantage is the fact that the product surface is hardly roughened. Screw threads and tap holes will not be affected. This makes the glass bead blasting treatment suitable for all kinds of materials. The treatment is performed in a small hand cabin.
The products are cleaned with warm water under high pressure. According to the requirements the pressure is adjusted to a higher level. Steam-cleaning; a treatment mainly used to erase residual pollution. The standard procedure is highly suitable for post-treatment of paintshop instruments, floor diffusers, RVS, filters etc.
Ultrasonic cleaning is a highly efficient cleaning technique. All our chemical baths are being supported by ultrasonic technology. TCI is also equipped with a line of various chemical baths supported by ultrasonic technology. In these baths products can be stained, leached and conserved. Staining is a treatment to remove rust from steal objects. By staining the surface the metal is deeply cleaned which also removes possible oxide layers. Staining therefor is often used as pre-treatment for coating.
Advantages
The Laboratory is used for various activities. Filters are subject to bubble point tests and small materials are degreased and packed dust-free.
